Sustainability

Sustainability matters to us

We are convinced that beautiful design and responsible action belong together. With every product, we ask ourselves how we can become more resource-efficient, more transparent, and fairer. For us, sustainability does not begin only with shipping, but already with the idea, the material, and the selection of our partners. We want to offer furniture that looks good and is created with care for the environment and people – and we continuously review our processes to achieve this.

Certified fabrics – tested and skin-friendly

Our fabrics are intended to meet high standards – both visually and in terms of environmental and health standards. Many of our covers are certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and comply with the requirements of the EU chemicals regulation REACH. This means they have been tested for harmful substances and are skin-friendly. This is especially important to us for furniture that is used every day.

Wood and origin

Wood is one of the most valuable raw materials we work with – and we select our suppliers accordingly with great care. [We prefer to work with European suppliers and thereby keep transport routes short. — only leave this in if that is actually true] [Optional, if you have supporting documentation: For many Wood components, we rely on Wood from FSC®-/PEFC-certified forestry.] When selecting materials, we focus on quality and durability – so that our furniture brings lasting enjoyment.

Conserving resources – including with returns

In the furniture industry, returns are often simply disposed of. We do things differently: we inspect each returned product individually – is it fully functional, can it be refurbished, can it be repackaged and sold again? Wherever possible, we clean and rework it and give it a second chance instead of throwing it away. That takes time and effort – but to us, it is worth it.

Handcrafted in Europe

Many of our furniture pieces are made in small European workshops, in collaboration with experienced craftspeople. Each piece stands for quality, precision, and attention to detail. These partnerships support local craftsmanship and short production and delivery routes – and are a central part of our identity.

A promise to you

Sustainability is more to us than a label. It should run through everything we do – from product development and material selection to logistics and customer service. Whether it is a sofa, bed, or side table: with us, you receive quality, design, and a share of responsibility that we are glad to carry. For you, for us, for tomorrow.
