Conditions for the Voluntary Long-Term Warranty

1. General Information

The long-term warranty from Luxusbetten24 is a voluntary additional service that can be optionally purchased when buying selected furniture products. It begins after the expiration of the statutory warranty period (24 months from the delivery date) and extends – depending on the chosen option – by an additional two or four years.

The warranty applies exclusively to private end customers and for intended use indoors.

2. Warranty Services – What is Covered?

The long-term warranty exclusively covers functional defects or damages that occur without external influence and are attributable to a material or manufacturing defect. This includes, for example:

  • Cracks in the frame, structure, or foot components of a sofa or bed
  • Malfunction of integrated LED elements
  • Releasing load-bearing fasteners without external influence
  • Defective mechanisms in bed boxes or folding systems (unless caused by overloading)

3. Uncovered Damages (Exclusions)

The long-term warranty does not cover wear and tear or self-inflicted damages. In particular, the following are excluded:

  • Worn-out or sagging seating or lying surfaces (e.g., mattresses or foams)
  • Discolorations, stains, or scratches caused by use, cleaning agents, or UV exposure
  • Fabric or leather abrasion, pilling, fuzz formation, cracks in reference materials
  • Damage caused by pets (e.g., scratching, nibbling, urine, etc.)
  • Transport damage after initial assembly or improper installation
  • Normal aging of dampers, springs, or gas pressure mechanisms

4. Procedure in the Event of a Warranty Claim

If you detect a defect within the warranty period, please contact our customer service by email at info@luxusbetten24.de with the following information:

  • Proof of purchase / Order number
  • Description of the Defect
  • Clear photos or videos of the damage
  • If applicable, indication of the usage situation and date of appearance

Our service team will review the case based on this information. In individual cases, feedback from the manufacturer may be necessary or a physical inspection by a technician may be conducted.

5. Scope of Services in the Event of a Warranty Claim

In the justified case of warranty, we decide on one of the following measures depending on the nature and extent of the defect:

  • Delivery of spare parts
  • Instructions for Self-Repair (e.g., replacement of an LED or screw connection)
  • Organization of an on-site repair service

There is no entitlement to a complete product exchange or refund of the purchase price.

6. Exclusion in Case of Own Fault

The long-term warranty does not apply if the damage was caused by improper use or external influence. This includes, among other things:

  • Excessive strain or misuse (e.g., jumping on furniture)
  • Modifications or alterations to the piece of furniture
  • Damage caused by pets or small children
  • Damage caused by improper transport, subsequent storage, or assembly

In such cases, we reserve the right to refuse warranty service.

7. Miscellaneous

The long-term warranty is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the original purchaser as well as to the delivery address specified at the time of order. In the event of resale, relocation, or transfer of the product, the entitlement to this warranty expires.
